Behind the Spook

Constantly stumbling upon one-page stories in old journals, it seems I've always created alternate realities and when I was instead intrigued by what scared other children, my mum had no doubt that my dads' horror loving influence would shape my taste.

And why? Terrified of them myself, I couldn't sleep in the dark until I turned 18... but it's the twist of a plot that has me thinking about it for weeks on end; that genuine effect of goosebumps where they weren't before. A world where "what if" sends shivers up your spine. That's what I want to create.

I'm here to challenge the stereotypical jump scare and creep up on fears where it's least expected. Since we already know there's so much darkness in every corner, why not dig it up together?
